Quality Manager

Job description

We are searching for a Quality Manager for our Green Tech partner.

Role Overview:As a Quality Manager, you will be entrusted with the task of ensuring an effective quality assurance system. Collaborating with your team, you will ensure the entire quality assurance system aligns with international standards and specific requirements of classification bodies. You'll oversee the compliance with external inspection requirements within the company, including inspecting and releasing final products. Your pivotal role ensures that only top-quality products leave the production site.

  • Contribute to a top-quality production and work process using your expertise.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all colleagues.
  • Continuously drive improvements within the current quality management system.

Experience and Skills:

  • A technical affinity, especially concerning welding qualifications.
  • Proven ability to report to the management team and experience in leading a team.
  • Drive for continuous improvement and optimization of current processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the management team to determine quality policies and certification strategies.
  • Manage internal and external complaint systems.
  • Identify quality issues, propose solutions, and oversee corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with quality laws and regulations.
  • Continuously drive improvements; organize internal audits and coordinate external ones.

Your innovative and critical approach will play a pivotal role in the ongoing enhancement of our quality system. Energized by optimizing methods, standards, and processes, you'll stay alert to new developments and techniques. Utilizing your network, you'll share and expand knowledge, fostering effective communication and training within the team, especially for the Quality Engineers under your guidance.

Company Background:Our client boasts over a century of experience in crafting top-tier heat exchangers, catering to a diverse clientele across power, energy, propulsion tech for maritime and industry sectors. With a core team of 70 employees, they collaborate globally with branches in around 50 countries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, preferably with completed IWT (International Welding Technologist) or IWP training.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the technical sector.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and standards like ISO and PED.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
