Unity Partners is actively seeking a Quality Engineer for our renowned Green Tech partner.
Role Overview:
As a Quality Engineer, you play a pivotal role in upholding and advancing the standards of our client's products and processes. Working in a dynamic environment, you will collaborate with diverse teams to identify, address, and prevent quality-related challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Quality Manager to implement and maintain the quality assurance system.
- Inspect and evaluate product quality, ensuring adherence to international standards and classification body requirements.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
- Analyze production processes and recommend improvements.
- Identify areas of potential quality risk and develop mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate internal audits and assist in external ones.
- Address quality-related queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all documentation related to quality assurance is up-to-date and compliant with relevant regulations.
Experience and Skills:
- Demonstrated expertise in the technical field, with special attention to welding qualifications.
- Adept at using various tools and software related to quality engineering.
- Strong analytical skills, with an ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Experience collaborating with diverse teams and reporting to higher management.
- Drive to stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in quality engineering.
Company Background:Our client has a rich history, spanning over a century, of creating premium heat exchangers. They cater to a diverse clientele from the power, energy, propulsion tech for maritime, and industry sectors. With a foundational team of 70 dedicated professionals, they collaborate globally, extending their reach to approximately 50 countries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience, with a preference for those with IWT (International Welding Technologist) or IWP training.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role or similar within the technical sector.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as ISO and PED.
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English, encompassing spoken and written communication.
