Senior Process Engineer (Development) - Amsterdam area

For one of our scale-up partners in sustainable solutions we are recruiting a Lead / Senior Process Engineer who likes to be the bridge between R&D and commercial developments and run projects on a global scale.

The person will play a pivotal role in managing a growing project portfolio and enhancing new and existing water treatment technologies.

Job Overview:

‍The Senior Process Engineer (Development) will be tasked with overseeing the development program, augmenting the technology portfolio, and spearheading process engineering across full-scale water treatment plant projects around the globe. Responsibilities extend from the tendering stage through to on-site commissioning.

Location: The role is a full-time position with a presence required in Amsterdam (approximately 3 days per week) and another location north of Amsterdam (approximately 1 day per week), alongside the option for remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management and expansion of the PED department's development program.
• Introduction and validation of new technologies.
• Creation of technical documentation and acting as the primary process point of contact.
• Contribution to project management, focusing on resource, scope, and timeline management.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Process / Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Over seven years of experience in process engineering and technology development.
• Experience with scale-up processes and water treatment technologies is advantageous.
• Willingness to engage in international travel for approximately 8 weeks annually.
• Proficiency in English, with Dutch language skills considered beneficial.
